Project Coordinator

Complete HealthVizion, part of McCann Health Medical Communications, is a global, award-winning, fresh-thinking medical communications agency based in the UK and US. We work with global and domestic teams from many leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to educate healthcare professionals and patients around the world. We are proud that our company continues to grow and so are seeking to hire a highly motivated, enthusiastic and capable Project Coordinator to join our team in either Macclesfield, Manchester or Glasgow to help support our continued success.

This position plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of medical communications projects such as multichannel medical education programs, meetings (including advisory boards, stand-alone meetings, virtual meetings etc.), and publications for our healthcare clients. Your organisation, administration, and communication skills will be tested daily as you help to meet, and where possible exceed, the expectations of our clients.

As part of the Complete HealthVizion team you will:

Become a central point of contact for the internal account teams, as well as a valuable point of contact for clients

Create and maintain administration files

Create PowerPoint presentations for use at meetings

Organise internal account team meetings and assist with arrangements for external meetings

Attend meetings and produce action minutes/status reports

Undertake information research on meetings, journals, and key external experts

Assist with producing schedules, project specifications, and raising new project codes

Coordinate business development logistics, such as scheduling travel for the team

 

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in life sciences preferred

Experience of working in medical communications (desirable)

Excellent administrative and organizational skills (essential)

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Good oral and written communication skills

A proactive approach to learning new skills and applying them to project work

A conscientious attitude and flexible approach according to work requirements
