At McCann Health Medical Communications (MHMC), we communicate about cutting-edge medicines that make a difference to patients’ lives. Medical communications (med comms) is a fast-paced and innovative environment and our teams work across diverse therapy areas developing materials for a range of audiences across multiple channels, from print publications to social media.
FUEL - Launching turbocharged careers in Scientific Services at MHMC
As an Associate Medical Editor, you will learn to critically appraise a range of medical communication materials (manuscripts, posters, presentation slides, website and app content), ensuring the highest standards in terms of clarity, accuracy, style, and consistency to meet client needs. Associate Medical Editors collaborate with internal account team colleagues, our in-house creative Studio, external authors, and clients, helping to ensure successful delivery of projects.
To be successful as an Associate Medical Editor, you will be passionate about quality and a career in med comms, with an understanding of how the services we provide for our clients help to play a meaningful role in people’s lives. Strong attention to detail is key, as is the ability to work in a team and confidently liaise with others. We look for proven ability to work independently, effectively manage your own time, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. A solid command of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is required. Previous editing experience and a relevant degree would be advantageous, but we will provide training to the successful candidate.
